An inner city Detroit public high school drama teacher who, against all odds, created a direct pipeline from Detroit to Broadway, Hollywood and beyond.

For the first time in over 2 years the creative team of our feature documentary ‘Uprooted – The Journey of Jazz Dance’ were able to be together IN-PERSON for a screening! The Jacksonville Dance Theatre invited us to be a part of their dance festival. Our co-creator/choreographer, Zak Nemorin taught the students and then the film played on a big screen.
